How do I rename OBST-Approved Earbuds?

Renaming Your Earbuds


Renaming your Earbuds helps you identify different pairs of Earbuds used. We recommend using the date of first use as part of the name.

How to Rename Your Earbuds

1. Ensure the Earbuds are powered on and connected/paired to your iPad. For instructions on pairing your Earbuds, please refer to the article - Quick Start Guide for Earbuds.

2. On the iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth .

3. Locate your Earbuds under MY DEVICES, confirming they are Connected.


4. Tap the  next to the connected Earbud name (ie AO-BT180).

5. Tap on the Name field.

6. Delete the current name and enter your preferred new name.

7. Tap  on the keyboard to save the change. This step is necessary to save the name.

8. Tap the  to return to the previous screen.

9. Your Earbuds are now renamed.
