Quick start guide for Laser Earbuds

Charging Your Earbuds

Before using your Earbuds (Laser AO-BT180 Wireless In-Ear Headphones) for the first time, and after each Optimum Bio Sound Therapy session, your Earbuds must be charged. The initial charge may take several hours.

To charge your Earbuds:

  1. Connect the included Micro-USB cable to the USB port of a power adapter.

  2. Attach the other end of the cable to the Micro-USB port on the Earbuds.

  3. The initial charge time is approximately 4 hours.

  4. The indicator light will turn blue once fully charged. If the light remains red, unplug and replug the cable until it changes to blue.

Pairing/Connecting Your Earbuds with Your Device

We recommend placing at least one Earbud in your ear during pairing so that you can hear the automated prompts ("Power On", “Power Off”, “Connected”).

To pair the Earbuds:

  1. Power on the Earbuds by pressing and holding the middle button on charged Earbuds until it flashes red and blue. You will hear the prompt "Power On".

  2. On the OptiRTP Delivery Platform (iPad), navigate to the Home Screen.

  3. Tap Settings > Bluetooth.

  4. Make sure Bluetooth is toggled on (green = on, grey = off).

  5. Under OTHER DEVICES, look for the listing AO-BT180
    (All Laser Earbuds are initially identified with this name.)

  6. Tap AO-BT180 to initiate pairing. You will hear "Connected" through the Earbuds once pairing is successful.

  7. The Earbuds will now appear under MY DEVICES, showing as "Connected", and the light on the Earbuds will be flashing blue.

  8. Your Earbuds will remain paired unless they are manually unpaired or reset.

Turning Off Your Earbuds After Use

We recommend powering off the Earbuds before charging. Place one in your ear to hear the prompt confirming shutdown.

To power off the Earbuds:

  1. Press and hold the middle button on the Earbuds for a few seconds. You will hear "Power Off", and the indicator lights will switch off.

  2. Charging may again take several hours.

Renaming Your Earbuds

Renaming your Earbuds helps you identify different pairs over time. We recommend using the date of first use as part of the name.

To rename your Earbuds:

  1. Ensure the Earbuds are powered on and connected/paired to your iPad (by following the pairing instructions above).

  2. On the iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.

  3. Locate your Earbuds under MY DEVICES, confirming they are Connected.

  4. Tap the blue (i) icon next to the Earbud name.

  5. Tap on the Name field.

  6. Delete the current name and enter your preferred new name.

  7. Tap Done on the keyboard to save the change. This step is necessary to save the name.

  8. Tap the blue arrow to return to the previous screen.

  9. Your Earbuds are now renamed.
