How will I know when I need to replace the Earbuds?

The JLab Earbuds are approved for up to 90 hours of Optimum Bio Sound Therapy (OBST) use, and the Laser Earbuds for up to 60 hours.
Keep track of the hours and replace your Earbuds once you reach the maximum hours of use. The OBST App automatically tracks the hours for each set of Earbuds under your Profile, so you always know when it's time to retire a pair.

Remember - only the JLab Earbuds and the Laser Earbuds are compatible with OBST.

Sharing Earbuds with another user

If more than one person shares the same pair of Earbuds, each person's sessions are logged under their own Profile - so no single Profile shows the true total hours on that pair.
To find the actual total hours on a shared pair, you will need to add up the hours shown across every Profile that has used those Earbuds.
Replacement is based on this combined total - 90 hours for JLab Earbuds, 60 hours for Laser Earbuds.

For the simplest tracking, and to avoid manually adding up hours, we recommend giving each user their own set of Earbuds.
