Based on over 10 years of research, user feedback and observations, see the Optimum Bio Sound Therapy (OBST) usage tips below:
FOR BEST RESULTS:
Optimal daily use: 4-6 hours daily (minimum single session time of 2 hours). Minimum daily use of at least 2 hours daily (1 session)
Hydration: Drink plenty of water (at least 1L extra daily).
Equipment: Replace Earbuds after every 60hrs of OBST use.
GENERAL USE:
1. Wi-Fi Signal: Ensure a strong connection where you use the device. Use a compatible Wi-Fi extender if needed.
2. Stay Close: Keep within 3m of the iPad
3. Charging: You must not charge the iPad during an OBST session
4. Reset Modem Weekly: Unplug and turn off your modem for 7 minutes once a week to clear its cache.
5. Do not run any iOS updates: If prompted, do not run any iOS updates as this will affect the delivery of the service and your iPad will need to be sent back to us to reset (NZD95 + postage fee applies).
USING OBST:
1. Position: You must place the cord behind your neck with the battery/controller on the left.
2. Volume - Ensure you can hear the white noise (rain sound) in both ears. Test this in a quiet room. The sound just needs to be audible in both ears, louder is not better. It’s okay if you can’t hear it in noisier environments (e.g. while watching TV).
3. Session Length - Use for at least 2 hours at a time, up to a maximum of 6 hours daily.
